National Bishop Convention Greetings
“Sent On Mission”
I wish to extend a warm welcome to you to attend our upcoming 59th Biennial National Convention scheduled for August 1-3 in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. There is an urgent need for every believer to be engaged in the work of the Great Commission if we are going to reconcile the world to Christ.
The text for our National Convention is based on John 20:21. Jesus is about to return to his Father and He says “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending You.”

The Bible says, “for we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16
Missions are not an optional activity- they are a core part of being a follower of Christ.
How then are we to Live Missionally? …
-
Pray for Open Doors- Ask God to bring people into your life who need the gospel
-
Be Intentional- Look for everyday opportunities to share your faith.
-
Support Mission Work- If you cannot “Go” you can give financially or in kind to meet the needs of people. Support those who are called to “Go” and let us pray and encourage them.
-
Pray For laborers- “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:38

Live Differently- Let your actions reflect the transformation Christ has made in your life. Your fruit will point the lost to salvation granted by Christ.

The world needs the hope of Christ and God has chosen His people to be the messengers. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying Whom shall I send? Who will go for us? And I said Here am I “send me”. Isaiah 6:8
